1. What you are buying
You are placing a pre-order for one (1) admission ticket to the Vas Events White Lie Party scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2026, running from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, at a venue in downtown Montreal that is to be announced and will be communicated to confirmed ticket holders before the event. The price of thirty-five Canadian dollars ($35 CAD) includes one (1) white shirt bearing the quote you supply during checkout, subject to the content rules in section 6. Your pre-order is a request to reserve a ticket; it becomes a confirmed ticket only once Vas Events receives and verifies your payment and marks your order as approved, at which point you will receive a confirmation email.
2. Pre-order status and refunds
While ticket sales remain in the pre-order stage, every pre-order ticket is subject to a full refund in the event that the party is cancelled, postponed beyond a reasonable period, or otherwise does not take place as advertised, for any reason including but not limited to venue withdrawal, insufficient ticket sales, adverse weather, public health directives, municipal orders, loss of licensing, force majeure, or a decision by the organisers not to proceed. Refunds issued under this section are returned by the same method the payment was received wherever practical, and are processed within a reasonable period following the announcement of the cancellation. No administrative fee is deducted from a refund issued because of a cancellation.
3. Transition from pre-order to regular sales
Once Vas Events determines that the party is confirmed to proceed, ticket sales move from the pre-order stage to the regular sales stage. From that moment the event is treated as confirmed, and further cancellations, refunds, credits or exchanges may no longer be available, whether requested by you or arising from a change in your personal circumstances, including illness, travel, transportation difficulties, conflicting commitments, disciplinary measures imposed by a school or guardian, or a simple change of mind. Vas Events may, entirely at its own discretion and without creating any obligation or precedent, choose to accommodate a refund request after this point, and any such accommodation applies only to the specific request granted.
4. One ticket per guest
Each guest may hold one ticket. Tickets are personal to the named purchaser, are not transferable without the written consent of Vas Events, and may not be resold, auctioned, bartered, or offered as a prize or inducement. Vas Events may refuse admission to any person presenting a ticket registered to a different individual, and may cancel without refund any ticket it reasonably believes was obtained or transferred in breach of this section.
5. Photography, video and how we use them
By agreeing to these terms you grant Vas Events and its organisers, staff, contracted photographers and videographers the irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right to photograph, film and record you at the event, and to reproduce, edit, publish, broadcast and display those photographs, recordings and any derivative works on our social media accounts, our website, in promotional material for future events, and in recap or highlight content, in any medium now known or later developed, without further notice, approval or compensation to you. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished material, and you acknowledge that you have no ownership interest in it. You may at any time ask us to remove a specific photograph or video in which you appear by emailing inquiries@vasevents.org, and we will remove it from the channels we control within a reasonable period; removal cannot extend to copies already downloaded, reshared or cached by third parties, or to material already distributed in print.
6. Shirt quotes
The quote you submit is printed as supplied, subject to the physical limits of the garment. Vas Events may decline to print, and may substitute or blank, any quote that it considers hateful, harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit, defamatory, threatening, an incitement to illegal activity, an infringement of a third party's intellectual property, or that names or targets an identifiable individual without their agreement. Where a quote is declined we will make a reasonable attempt to contact you for a replacement before the printing deadline; if we cannot reach you in time, your shirt may be produced blank and no refund arises on that basis. Minor variations in placement, sizing, shade and finish are inherent to garment printing and do not constitute a defect.
7. Conduct and admission
Admission is subject to the rules of the venue and to the reasonable directions of Vas Events staff and security. You agree not to bring weapons, illegal substances, or alcohol not supplied by the event, and not to engage in violence, harassment, intimidation, theft, vandalism, or any behaviour that endangers other guests. Vas Events and the venue may refuse entry to, or remove without refund, any person who breaches these rules, who appears to be intoxicated or otherwise unfit to be admitted safely, or whose conduct disrupts the enjoyment or safety of others. Re-entry after leaving the venue may be restricted.
8. Your information
The name, email address, phone number and date of birth you provide are stored in our guest records so that we can administer ticket sales, verify identity at the door, contact you about payment and about this and future events, and comply with any venue or legal requirement regarding attendee age. If our records already contain an entry that matches your name, your order may be linked to that entry, and you will be asked before any stored detail is changed. We do not sell your information. We may share the minimum necessary details with the venue, with security staff, or with a supplier producing the shirts, in each case for the purpose of running this event.
9. Payment, verification and abandoned orders
Payment is made off-site by Interac e-Transfer or in cash as selected at checkout. Every payment is reviewed by hand, typically within one business day of receipt. Your pre-order is held pending that review, and Vas Events may cancel and release a pre-order for which no payment has been received within a reasonable period, making the spot available to other guests. Submitting a pre-order without intending to pay, or repeatedly ordering and abandoning tickets, may result in refusal of future orders. You are responsible for sending payment to the correct address and for quoting your ticket reference; a payment that cannot be matched to an order may be delayed or returned. 10. Capacity, changes and liability
Tickets are limited in number and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis; submitting the order form does not reserve a spot until the order is recorded. Vas Events may change the venue, start and end times, layout, entertainment, supplied refreshments, or any other detail of the event where it considers the change necessary or desirable, and no such change entitles you to a refund provided the event proceeds in substantially the form advertised. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Vas Events and its organisers arising out of or connected with your ticket is limited to the amount you paid for that ticket, and Vas Events is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for personal property lost, stolen or damaged at the venue, or for matters outside its reasonable control.
11. Agreement
By ticking the box below and submitting your order you confirm that the information you have given is accurate, that you have read and accepted these terms in full, including the photography and video permissions in section 5 and the refund position in sections 2 and 3, and that where you are under the age of majority a parent or guardian is aware of your attendance and of this purchase. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of Quebec. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
